Walker US opened its doors in 1970 as a value-added distributor of electric motors, drives and power transmission equipment including belts, gears and sprockets. Some of Walker’s original lines were Baldor, Lovejoy, Martin Sprocket & Gear, Allis Chalmers & Sumitomo. Over the years, the company evolved into an industry leading engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction firm providing products and services for the delivery, monitoring and control of electrical power.
