Welcome to Walker US – A Utility Solutions Company…

Walker’s story began in 1970 as an electric motor, drive and power transmission distributor in the North Jersey suburbs of New York City. Over the years, the company began taking on more value-added projects and established a reputation as a reliable engineering company with a focus on results and customer satisfaction. As Walker grew, so did our diverse customer base and project list. Today, Walker’s footprint is global having completed projects successfully from our own backyard in Jersey to halfway across the world in Kuala Lampur.

In 2016, Ms. Jillian Leinen became the majority owner, qualifying Walker US as certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE). Since then, Walker has helped may utilities achieve their diversity goals. Under Ms. Leinen’s leadership, the company changed its name to Walker US, Inc. to reflect its commitment as a full-fledged “Utility Solutions” company while also maintaining the Walker brand that has become synonymous with customer satisfaction.
