Pressure Relief Valves

Walker’s diaphragm actuated back pressure valves are fully automatic valves designed to dependably maintain a pre-determined pressure on the inlet regardless of variations in pressure at the outlet. Excess pressure is relieved into a lower pressure line. Performance is virtually unaffected by variations in the return line. The valves are not emergency devices, but are continuously operating valves which provide accurate, repetitive pressure control.

Walker’s back pressure valves are available in various pressure control and temperature ranges. Walker provides steel bases with socket weld ports, viton O-ring seals and bronze diaphragms. Additionally, all of Walker’s back pressure valves incorporate a “floating ring” seating arrangement which provides tight closure and practically frictionless performance.
